Located 20mins SW of Paris, France, I took the train to the Versailles Chateau-Rive Gauche Station in order to explore this royal establishment!
Home of the French Gov't there lived 3 French Kings:
Louis 14th, Louis 15th, and Louis 16th...

The Château de Versailles, is one of the most beautiful achievements of 18th-century French art.
As the ultimate tourist, I was overly amazed at this ornate historic attraction and super excited to explore these royal grounds.

the Palace...

Starting in the Palace, I ventured into as many crevices my eyes could see...pictured are 2 different 'Grand Halls' filled with interesting sculptures...I continued throughout on a 'self-guided' tour.

The  Grandiose 'Hall of Mirrors',  known as The Grande Galerie (La Grande Galerie in French), as it was called in the 17th century, was used daily by courtiers and visitors for passing through, waiting and for meeting people. I immediately felt like royalty upon entering...the most amazing detail to me is the line of glass chandeliers aligned down the hall. As you can see, EVERYONE was in awe of such astonishment!
FUN FACT: It was exactly HERE that the treaty of Versailles was signed on 28th June 1919, which sealed the end of the First World War.

This was not only a beautiful sight to see, but also there is so much French history here! I left feeling completely grateful, enlighten, and blessed for this experience!
