The options are limitless in Paris during the summer...allow me to share my adventures!
A couple of summers ago, my now husband and I traveled across the pond on an 'Europe Excursion' with Paris France being 1 of 3 countries visited. We were in Paris 3 full days and we definitely made the most of it...
what would a trip to paris be w/o visiting the Eiffel tower?!
This famous attraction has 3 levels to it. In this shot Im standing on the lowest level which can be taken by an elevator OR 300 steps up...fun fact, it cost to take the journey all the way to the top. But it wasn't a question if we were gonna go all the way up...
At the highest level up, looking down you basically can only see flickers of light down below. You are 986 ft. above the ground and can only be taken up in a glass lift. Besides the views, another great benefit of going all the way up is a Champagne Bar. Going all the way up to the top of the tallest building in Paris is definitely something to toast about!
Can you believe this is underneath the Eiffel Tower? Yes, you can actually stand right under and look all the way up! I also fell so in love w/ the light show. Nightly once every hour it lights up for 10mins straight. Just imagine being inside at the highest level during the light show...such an incredible memorable experience!
the kings palace & the louvre
If you have at least 4hours to spare, check out The Versailles Palace & The Louvre Museum. Click here for full blog post of my adventure throughout Chateau De Versailles, so much beautiful exquisite history...And of course if you are interested in viewing the most famous painting in the world, Mona Lisa, then a trip inside the Louvre will be worthwhile.
per Bruno mars, "shopping sprees in paris"
one of the most romantic cities...
One attribute that I was completely drawn to was how charming and loving Paris is...We enjoyed the sidewalk cafés for dinner and mostly our hotel room lit up with the Eiffel Tower just out our window every night. Im so glad I experienced the city of love with the love of my life.
